Our history
DTL was founded under the leadership of Charles Platon, whose family has been in the printing industry since 1952. What began as a commercial photo studio grew into Platon Graphics, a well-known Los Angeles printing company serving national retailers and museums. With that foundation, DTL was created as a focused company built to serve a very specific need: high quality dry transfer lettering for hobbyists, professionals and institutions.
Our people
Each member of our team is trained to manage projects with care, from proofing artwork to packaging finished transfers. Our size allows us to remain approachable and flexible, while our background gives us the expertise of a much larger organization.
